Richard Procter

Richard Procter is an experienced journalist and editor, currently serving as the Assistant Editor at CalMatters since March 2020. Previous roles include Editor in Chief at SF Weekly and Special Projects Editor at San Francisco Business Times, along with experience as a reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle and various freelance positions. Richard has contributed to Forbes, JustPressPlay.net, and numerous other publications, focusing on topics ranging from small business profiles to esports and tech. An alumnus of the University of California, Davis, with a B.A. in Communication, Richard also holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University.
