Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Calnex Solutions

Peter Duncan has a strong background in software engineering, particularly in embedded systems. Peter began their career in 1994 as a student at IBM, providing assistance to test engineers and supporting manufacturing operations. From 1996 to 2001, they worked as a senior software engineer at 3Com, specializing in embedded systems. Peter then joined Motorola in 2001, where they spent four years developing embedded automotive solutions for major vehicle manufacturers. In 2006, they worked as a senior software engineer at BitWiseRT for two years. Peter also briefly worked as a senior software engineer at BitWise in the same year. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as a software engineer at Vibration Technology Ltd., developing software for wireless seismic equipment. Since 2012, they have been employed at Calnex Solutions, where they started as a software engineer and later became a senior embedded software engineer. In their current role, they serve as the technical lead on the Paragon-X and Paragon-t products, directing engineering efforts to meet sales objectives and customer expectations worldwide.

Peter Duncan attended Denny High School from 1984 to 1990. Peter obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Honours degree in Engineering with a specialization in Electronics and Software from Glasgow Caledonian University, graduating in 1996.
