Mahmoud Draz has a diverse work experience in the culinary industry. Mahmoud is currently working as the Head Chef at Calo Inc. since November 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Sous Chef at Shaza Hotels from February 2018 to October 2021. Mahmoud also worked as the Head Chef at Mayyar United from February 2017 to January 2018. Mahmoud gained valuable experience at Kempinski Hotels, where they held multiple roles such as Chef de Cuisine, Oriental Chef, Junior Sous Chef, and Chef De Partie from 2010 to 2017. Mahmoud also completed a Corporate Hospitality Internship at Marriott Hotels in 2010 and worked as a Demi Chef De Partie at Dusit Hotels & Resorts from 2008 to 2009. Before that, they worked as a First Commie at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and "Mediterranean" Company for tourism projects. Mahmoud started their career as a Cook at Restaurant Group Inc in Alexandria, Egypt from 2002 to 2003.

Mahmoud Draz pursued their education in the culinary field, starting with their attendance at the Alexandria Hotel Institute (E.G.O.T.H.) from 2004 to 2006. During this time, they obtained an associate degree in Culinary Management, focusing on Restaurant, Culinary, and Catering Management/Manager. Following this, they enrolled at Daytona State College in 2009 and completed their studies in 2010, earning an ASS degree in Culinary Management. In addition to their formal education, Mahmoud Draz also obtained a certification in ServSafe Food Handlers from The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation in April 2010.
