Darragh Canavan

Darragh Canavan is a seasoned production manager with extensive experience in the food industry. Currently serving as the Production Manager and Continuous Improvement Lead at Calor Ireland since November 2024, Darragh previously held various roles at Dairygold Co-Operative Society Ltd, including Production Manager and Production Shift Manager from January 2020 to November 2024. Prior experience includes a position as Trainee Production Manager at ABP Food Group and Production Supervisor at Irish Bacon Slicers, where Darragh worked for 15 years. Darragh's career began as an Assembly Technician at PCpro Computers. Educational qualifications include a Level 7 Certificate in Health, Safety, and Welfare in the Workplace, and an Ordinary Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology, both obtained from University College Cork. Darragh also holds a Leaving Certificate from Midleton CBS.
