Alex le - Mba

Alex Le has a diverse and extensive work experience. Alex started their career as an intern at Bailey Peavy Bailey Cowan Heckaman, PLLC, where they assisted lead attorneys with legal brief preparation and reviewed thousands of legal documents in class-action lawsuits. Alex then interned at Merrill Lynch, where they gained exposure to various aspects of the Wealth Management Division. Alex also co-founded Nasa Liquor, a specialized wine and spirits shop, where they implemented modern SEO and marketing analytics strategies to significantly grow the customer base.

Moving into the tech industry, Alex worked as a software engineer at DigitalCrafts, gaining proficiency in JavaScript, Python, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like jQuery, Node, and React. Alex later joined Genesis Planning as a UI/UX developer before transitioning to a role as a Cloud Engineer at Microsoft, where they analyzed the company's IT system and cloud platform, diagnosed system inefficiencies, and collected client requirements.

At Micro Focus (formerly HP / Hewlett Packard Enterprise), Alex worked as an Account Executive, managing all aspects of the sales cycle and developing sales strategies for application delivery management technologies. During their time at Microsoft, they served as a Cloud Solutions Architect, planning and implementing large scale, highly available, and scalable Azure infrastructures for state and local government clients.

Most recently, Alex joined Calpine as a Principal Cloud Architect, where they apply their expertise in cloud architecture to drive innovation and optimize infrastructure.

Alex Le completed their Master of Finance degree with a concentration in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics at the University of Houston-Clear Lake from 2017 to 2018. Following that, they pursued computer software engineering studies at DigitalCrafts from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, Alex has obtained several certifications from Microsoft, such as Microsoft Sentinel Ninja Training, Microsoft Security Immersion Completion Badge, OpenHack: Migrating Microsoft Workloads to Azure, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Accessibility in Action, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert. Alex has also completed various courses on Azure administration, design, identity, security, and network foundations through LinkedIn. Most recently, in October 2022, Alex obtained the Microsoft Sentinel Ninja Training certification.
