Brett Fant has served as the Director of HR Operations at Calpine since June 2009, where responsibilities include overseeing HR, IT, and Facilities budgeting and forecasting, as well as managing Position Control for over 2,000 employees across more than 90 locations. Brett is also involved in the preparation of monthly HR Dashboards and quarterly Board presentations focusing on diversity and workforce planning, while continually improving processes through VBA. Prior roles include Manager of Business Analytics and Manager of FP&A at Mattress Firm, Manager of Financial Reporting and Accounting Manager at Calpine, and Power Scheduler and Accountant at Dynegy. Brett holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Houston.
