Mark Hettel

Mark Hettel has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mark currently holds the position of SVP, Finance Strategy & Transformation at CalPrivate Bank since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Technology Administration Officer at WaFd Bank from April 2018 to November 2022. Before that, they served as the SVP, Director of Strategic & Financial Analysis at HomeStreet Bank from September 2012 to April 2018. Mark also has experience working at VMC, where they held the role of Director of Consulting Operations from February 2012 to September 2012 and Pricing and Profitability Manager from April 2009 to February 2012. Mark worked at Washington Mutual as the Channel Strategic Support Manager from October 2006 to March 2009 and as a Sr. Project Manager from August 2004 to September 2006. Additionally, they were a Six Sigma Leader at Hexcel Corporation from 2001 to 2004. Mark began their career in the US Army, where they served as an Officer from 1995 to 1999.

Mark Hettel attended Xavier University from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
