Alyssa joined CALSTART in 2022 as Director of Infrastructure Incentive Administration with the Clean Fuels & Infrastructure team. She oversees the EnergIIZE and Communities in Charge incentive programs and focuses on driving a thoughtful equity and community-first strategy across all incentive administrative activities and project requirements. She oversees strategy development on the integration of smart and innovative infrastructure solutions for battery electric and fuel cell vehicles for light, medium, and heavy-duty applications.
Prior to joining CALSTART, Alyssa worked in the first/last mile zero emissions mobility space as Director of Transit Development at Circuit, an electric microtransit company with operations across the United States. She led government relations, public private partnerships, impact metric development, and community engagement strategy and helped the company and its communities win millions of dollars in private and public support, including state grants. Alyssa was also a Public Policy Research Fellow in Government Relations at the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator evaluating local, state, national, and global policies and providing support for transportation, workforce development, and economic development programs. Her career spans cleantech, technology commercialization, and international development with extensive experience in social entrepreneurship, project management, and technology ecosystem development. Alyssa holds an MA from Stanford University and BA from UCLA.
