Trisha DelloIacono joined CALSTART in 2022 as the Federal Policy Director, leading efforts in Congress and at key agencies such as EPA, DOE, and DOT. While providing significant support to the US EV Battery Leadership Coalition, DelloIacono is also the lead of the member-funded Federal Policy Action Group.
Prior to joining CALSTART, DelloIacono led the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA)’s sustainability and product safety initiatives and was the chief liaison to AAFA’s Product Safety Council and Environmental Committee.
DelloIacono spent the previous decade with Moms Clean Air Force/Environmental Defense Fund, working with Members of Congress to advocate for policies that protect children’s health, with a special focus on electric vehicle policy. DelloIacono has a proven track record in elevating issues that impact climate. Her work has been recognized by the New York Times, E&E News, Forbes, and the Philadelphia Inquirer, among others, and by congressional leaders such as Vice President Harris, Speaker Pelosi and Leader Schumer.
DelloIacono has an MBA and a BS in Marketing. She serves on the board for the Columbia Center for Children’s Environmental Health in NYC and is a member of the Women of EVs global organization, where she is recognized for her work in the transportation sector.
