Kirsten Casella

Kirsten Casella has a strong background in legal operations and administration. Kirsten began their career in 2008 as a Board Advisor at the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, where they managed the Registered Professional Foresters licensing program and assisted with board meetings. In 2009, they transitioned to the State of California as a Human Resources Analyst, focusing on recruitment strategy and employee classification. Since 2012, Casella has held various roles at CalSTRS, including Director of Operations and Director of Legal Operations. In their current position as Director of Enterprise Information Management & Legal Operations at CalSTRS, they oversee the management of enterprise information and legal operations.

Kirsten Casella holds a Master's Degree in Instructional Communication from California State University-Sacramento, which they obtained between 2005 and 2011. Kirsten also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication from the same university, completing it from 2004 to 2009.
