Kayla Uy

Kayla Uy is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an Associate MES Engineer at Caltrol Inc. since June 2022. Previously, Kayla worked as a Supply Chain Process Engineering Intern at Walmart Distribution Center, where responsibilities included identifying packaging requirements for an automated grocery distribution center and optimizing order-filling processes. Involvement with AIChE at UC Irvine included roles as Industry Relations Chair and Secretary, contributing to event planning and file organization. Additional experience includes working in the Payoff Department at Western Resources Title, managing bank wires and office correspondence, and providing customer service as a team member at Blaze Pizza, LLC. Kayla holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from UC Irvine, earned in 2022.
