Dorian Wallace

Dorian Wallace is an accomplished music therapist and freelance composer with extensive experience in various therapeutic and artistic settings. Currently serving as a music therapist at Calvary Hospital since August 2022 and at Mederi Muzik since February 2021, Dorian has founded a private practice focused on clinical telehealth therapy and community outreach. Dorian also co-directs Tenth Intervention, a New York City-based music series and artist collective that promotes modern music and addresses social issues through art. Previous roles include teaching and accompanying at the Martha Graham Dance Company, facilitating group music therapy at Rikers Island, and interning at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Dorian's musical journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy from Montclair State University, complemented by versatile experience as a pianist for the U.S. Army and as an accompanist at the Interlochen Center for the Arts.
