Mariana Vonder Born

Mariana joined Calvert in 2019 with 17 years of masonry experience. As Special Projects Manager, Mariana is responsible for performing conditions assessments, estimating, and project management of Calvert’s restoration projects. Prior to joining Calvert, Mariana was the co-founder and president of Dominion Restoration, LLC a historic masonry restoration firm. Her work included commercial, institutional and residential historic buildings.

As a lifelong resident of the Washington, DC area Mariana is well versed in the region’s architectural history and traditional masonry styles and details. She believes she has a responsibility not just to our clients, but also to the buildings we work on, as we are the stewards of the history, artistry, and technology that they embody.

Mariana received her BA in Historic Preservation from the University of Mary Washington.
