Matt Bailey currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Calvert Street Group, a position held since September 2022. Prior to this role, Matt held the position of Vice President of Regional Policy at the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce from April 2019 to September 2022. Matt's extensive experience in the public sector includes multiple roles within the Tennessee Secretary of State's office, including Assistant Director of Human Resources & Organizational Development and Assistant Director of Business Services, among others. Matt began a career in legislative support as a Legislative Assistant for the Tennessee General Assembly from January 2010 to May 2012. Matt holds an M.B.A. from Tennessee Technological University and a B.A. in Political Science and Government from Middle Tennessee State University, along with an Associate's degree in the same field from Motlow State Community College.
