Thomas Boerner

Thomas Boerner has held a variety of roles since 2010. Thomas began their career as an Internship at Continental in 2010. Thomas then worked as a Junior Technical Consultant at Bosch Rexroth in 2012. That same year, they also began a role as a Research Assistant at RWTH Aachen University. In 2014, they took on a role as a Visiting Researcher at UC Berkeley. In 2015, they became a Visiting Research Scientist at Cyclotron Road. In 2017, they became a Visiting Research Scientist at Berkeley Lab. Most recently, they have been the Chief Technology Officer and Technical Lead at CalWave Power Technologies Inc. since 2018.

Thomas Boerner received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2018. Thomas also holds two Master's Degrees from RWTH Aachen University, one in Economics and one in Mechanical Engineering, which they obtained in 2015.
