Carlo Pinto has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Carlo is currently employed at Calytrix Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the UK Atomic Energy Authority as a VR Software Engineer from September 2021 to April 2022, where they focused on agile development of Virtual Reality software for JET Remote Handling workflows. From February 2015 to September 2021, Carlo worked at the Virtual Engineering Centre (VEC) as a Research Associate, providing digital strategy solutions and supporting the delivery of the LCR4 START Programme. Before that, they worked as a Vision Systems Engineer at MERMEC Group from October 2014 to January 2015, where they conducted evaluations of algorithms and provided consultancy for algorithm improvements. Carlo also has experience as a VR Software Engineer at VEC from May 2014 to July 2014, where they were involved in the development of a 3D immersive real-time simulation. Additionally, they worked as a Master Student at VEC from November 2013 to March 2014, where they developed a low-cost tactile feedback system for data-gloves in virtual reality environments. Carlo Pinto completed their education at Politecnico di Bari. Carlo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from 2008 to 2012 and later pursued a Master's degree in the same field from 2012 to 2014. Prior to attending Politecnico di Bari, Carlo attended Liceo Majorana Desio from 2002 to 2007, although no degree or field of study was specified for this period.
