Giuseppe Cama has extensive work experience in the field of bioceramics and biomaterials. Giuseppe currently holds the position of Head of R&D at CAM Bioceramics B.V., where they are responsible for leading and overseeing research and development activities. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Innovation & Science at CAM Bioceramics. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Scientist at CAM Bioceramics, conducting research in the field of bioceramic materials. Giuseppe also gained research experience as a Research Associate at the Polymer Chemistry and Biomaterials Group (PBM) at Ghent University and as a Visiting Researcher at King's College London. Giuseppe Cama completed their Ph.D. at the University of Genoa.
Giuseppe Cama obtained a Master's Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Genoa. Giuseppe later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical and Materials Engineering from the same university, completing it in the years 2007 to 2010.
