Doug Makishima is an elected member of both the Technical Steering Committee and End User Counsel at CAMARA Project within the Linux Foundation. Doug is also the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Summit Tech, the CEO & Founder of VieQi, Inc., an Advisor and CSMO (acting) at ECOBLOX, and a Mentor at Techstars. Additionally, Doug serves as an Advisor at Daycare Owl, Iodm, and Private Sentinel. Doug was previously the COO / Strategic Advisor at Meeami Technologies (Acquired by Google) and played a key role in the IP Communications Interop - Network 2020 project at GSMA. Doug holds degrees in Fintech, BSEE (ECE), Comp. Engr. & Control Systems, and an MBA in Marketing and International Business.
