Deborah S.

Deborah S. is an experienced Human Resources professional with a strong background in talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance with federal and state employment laws. Currently serving as a Human Resources Business Partner at HII Technical Solutions since February 2021, Deborah previously held the position of Director of Human Resources at BECO, where responsibilities included teamwork, performance management, and training and development. Prior to BECO, Deborah managed a team of HR professionals for the City of Virginia Beach's Department of Parks and Recreation, focusing on strategic planning and legal compliance. Deborah also served as the Director of Human Resources at Camellia Food Stores Inc, leading HR initiatives and risk management efforts. Deborah holds an MBA from Troy University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a dual concentration in Human Resources Management from Southern New Hampshire University.
