Troels Hilstrøm

Troels Hilstrøm is a Senior Product & Process Developer at Cambi since June 2023 and the owner of TH Process Solutions since March 2022. Previously, Troels held the position of R&D Director at Haarslev from March 2018 to February 2022 and Senior Technical Specialist at Ørsted from August 2017 to February 2018, where Troels was responsible for the commissioning of the first full-scale Renescience plant in the UK. Troels' extensive experience at Haarslev Industries includes serving as Process Manager, addressing non-standard process issues globally, and developing a new thermal process for sludge treatment. From June 2006 to November 2011, Troels worked at Biogasol as Pilot Plant Manager, optimizing a pilot plant for biofuels production and managing multiple project aspects. Troels began a career in research at the Technical University of Denmark as a PhD student focusing on biogas production from energy crops, following an M.Sc. in Engineering in Biotechnology from the same institution.
