Jonathan Santos Silva has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Jonathan is currently working as the Lead Designer & Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Cambiar Education since January 2020. Prior to this, they founded The Liber Institute in June 2019, where they remain as the Founder.

Before these roles, Jonathan held positions at Teach For America. Jonathan served as the Manager of Teacher Leadership Development from June 2012 to July 2013, and as a Learning Team Leader from August 2011 to May 2012. Prior to this, they worked at Little Wound School as the Department Chair from August 2011 to May 2012, and as a Secondary Math Teacher from July 2010 to May 2012.
Jonathan's early career includes being the Dean of Students at Breakthrough Providence in June 2011. Overall, they have a strong background in education, including leadership, design, and teaching positions.
Jonathan Santos Silva obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Entrepreneurship & Marketing, from Northeastern University between 2001 and 2005. In 2013, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Education Administration, specifically in PreK-12 Principal Licensure, at the University of South Dakota. Additionally, in 2011 and 2012, Jonathan attended Oglala Lakota College to further their education in the field of Education and Human Relations.
