Lauren Tate

Lauren Tate has a diverse range of work experience. Their most recent position was as the Operations & Strategy Director for Reading Reimagined at AERDF starting in January 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Operating Officer for Illuminate Literacy at Cambiar Education, also starting in January 2022. From January 2020 to December 2021, Lauren was the Director of Political Strategy for City Fund. From July 2019 to December 2021, they worked as a Consultant, providing project-based support for clients in the social sector. Lauren was the Senior Director of Strategy & School Growth at GREAT PUBLIC SCHOOLS NOW from October 2016 to July 2019, where they launched Los Angeles' first charter common enrollment platform. Before that, they served as the Chief of Staff for Achievement School District from September 2014 to October 2016. From July 2011 to September 2014, Lauren worked as a Consultant at The Bridgespan Group. They began their career as a Sales and Trading Summer Analyst at Citi in June 2007. Lauren also has corporate experience, having served as a Corporate Strategy Senior Analyst at The Walt Disney Company from July 2008 to July 2011, where they focused on strategy and financial analysis for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

Lauren Tate earned an A.B. degree in Economics from Harvard University starting in 2004 and completing their studies in 2008.
