Kara Medrano Mpa

Kara Medrano, MPA, PMP, currently serves as Program Manager at Cambium Assessment, overseeing the implementation of multi-year contracts for statewide assessment projects for state education agencies since August 2018. Previously, from January 2015 to July 2018, Kara worked at American Institutes for Research as a Senior Project Coordinator, providing senior-level support to assessment teams and managing sub-projects on established programs. Kara also has experience as a Project Coordinator within the same organization, contributing to both new and established assessment initiatives. Kara's earlier roles include Senior Associate at United Way and an internship at NewBridges Immigrant Resource Center. Kara holds a Master of Public Administration from James Madison University, with a focus on Public and Non-Profit Management, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs and Spanish from the same institution.
