Ryan Brown

Ryan Brown has a diverse work experience in various legal roles. Ryan began their career as a Law Clerk at the Oklahoma District Court in 2008. In 2009, they joined The American Education Corporation as General Counsel, where they provided legal advice to senior management and also served as the Director of the Human Resources Department. In the same year, they also became a Board Member at Variety Care. From 2010 to 2016, Ryan worked at K12 as an Assistant General Counsel. Ryan then joined Rosetta Stone in 2016 as an Assistant General Counsel and Director of Legal. In 2020, they joined Cambium Learning Group as an Associate General Counsel & Senior Director, Legal before being promoted to Chief Legal Officer later that year. In their current role, Ryan is responsible for overseeing the Legal department and managing areas such as corporate governance, litigation, mergers & acquisitions, operational strategy, and budget. Ryan is a member of the Executive Team and also co-chairs the AI Advisory Group.

Ryan Brown attended Boston College from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History. Ryan then went on to study at the Oklahoma City University School of Law from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Additionally, Ryan has a certification as a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute.
