Vanessa Williams

Vanessa Williams is an experienced education professional currently serving as the State Success Manager at Cambium Learning Group since June 2022. Prior to this role, Vanessa held the position of Education Program Specialist at the Maryland State Department of Education from November 2018 to June 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing grant implementation, providing technical assistance, and supporting early literacy projects. Vanessa's extensive background in education also includes leadership roles as Director of the Catonsville Presbyterian Church Family Child Care Center and as an Elementary School Principal at both Adams 12 Five Star Schools and The Pinnacle Charter School. With earlier experience as a Service Coordinator and an Elementary School Teacher, Vanessa possesses a strong foundation in curriculum development and instructional leadership. Vanessa holds a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from McDaniel College and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Chatham University.
