Caddy Hobbs

Caddy Hobbs currently serves as an Associate Director at Cambrex, where responsibilities include leading a team to address clients' analytical chemistry needs, particularly in areas such as impurity identification and method validation. Previously, Caddy held positions ranging from Scientist II at Avista Pharma Solutions, focusing on developing analytical methods under cGMP guidelines, to a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where significant research on spreading depolarization led to multiple publications. Caddy began an academic career as a Teaching Assistant and also contributed to research as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at East Tennessee State University. Caddy earned a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BS in ACS Chemistry from East Tennessee State University.
