P. Daniel Tyreus

P. Daniel Tyreus has over two decades of experience in technical consulting and custom software development. P. Daniel began their professional career in 1997 as the Owner of CircuSoft Instrumentation, where they invented and brought to market a novel biomedical research device. In 1998, they began working as a Graduate Student Researcher at UCSF, where they developed and tested new interstitial applicator designs and developed a dynamic computer simulation package for research and treatment planning. In 2011, they became the CTO of IntraSocial Marketing, Inc. In 2012, they became the President and CTO of Threefold Photos, Inc., where they led product and engineering development on Radius, a new location-based mobile app. In 2015, they became the Co-Founder and CTO of Peck, Inc., where they lead development and architecture on the Peck mobile app and service. In 2019, they became the Co-Founder of Soundcheck, a free publishing tool to get business onto voice devices. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Head of Engineering at Cambrian Asset Management LLC, where they are building world class data and software engineering teams from the ground up to do pioneering work in quantitative investing for digital assets.

P. Daniel Tyreus obtained their BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia between 1994 and 1998. P. Daniel then went on to pursue a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley, which they completed in 2003. P. Daniel also attended Sanford School, but no degree or field of study was obtained. Additionally, they hold certifications from UC Berkeley for their PhD and from Sun Microsystems for their Sun Certified Java Developer.
