Favaad Iqbal

Favaad Iqbal is a highly experienced professional in indirect taxation, currently serving as the Head of Indirect Taxes at Cambridge University Press & Assessment since July 2015, overseeing VAT matters for the organization. Favaad also holds a part-time position as a Research & Authentication Specialist at Collectors and has been a Trustee at Kettle's Yard, contributing to the University of Cambridge’s modern art gallery, since August 2018. Additional leadership roles include serving as a Trustee for SignHealth from January 2015 to December 2020 and as a Director for the Charity Tax Group from March 2017 to June 2020, advocating for charity taxation issues. Prior experience includes a consultancy role in the indirect taxes group at Deloitte. Favaad's academic credentials include an MSc in Voluntary Sector Management from Cass Business School, a PhD in Chemistry from UCL, and an MChem (Hons) in Chemistry from Durham University.
