Saša Tomić

Saša Tomić, PhD, PE, serves as the Digital Water Global Practice Leader at Burns & McDonnell since August 2020, where contributions to digital water transformation have established Saša as a pioneering subject matter leader in the company's history. With extensive experience spanning over two decades, previous roles include Senior Professional Associate at HDR, where Saša led an internationally-recognized hydraulic modeling practice, and Senior VP of Global Product Management at Autodesk Innovyze, responsible for introducing and expanding key products in the North American market. Saša has been active on various advisory boards, including the Industry Advisory Board for Cambridge University Press & Assessment and the Qatium Experts Board, while also providing expertise to both Metro Vancouver and the City of Vancouver in digital water initiatives. Educational qualifications include a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Sarajevo, an MS and PhD in Civil Engineering, and an MS in Computer Science from The University of Alabama.
