Vanessa Mcphee

Vanessa McPhee joined Cambridge Assessment as Chief Financial Officer in June 2020. She is an experienced finance leader who has worked across a range of organisations. Before joining Cambridge Assessment, she worked at microprocessor firm Arm, as Senior Director for Finance Business Partnering and Digital Finance Transformation.

She has a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham and began her career at the accounting firm Arthur Andersen. She then went on to work for the engineering firm Rolls Royce, before joining the bank Capital One where she spent nearly 12 years, experiencing most areas of Finance before eventually becoming the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.

Vanessa is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
