Adam Lester

Head of Corporate Strategy at Cambridge Associates

Adam Lester is the Global Head of Corporate Strategy, working with the CEO and leadership team to define the firm’s strategic direction and execute against major strategic initiatives. Before joining Cambridge Associates, Adam was the Head of Strategy in the Americas for J.P. Morgan Asset Management, and prior to that he was an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company, where his clients were primarily financial services companies. Adam started his career in the Private Equity Division of Lehman Brothers, where he was a founding member of the Private Funds Group.

Adam currently serves on the board of the Children’s Law Center, a non-profit law firm that represents New York City children in custody, guardianship, visitation, domestic violence, and child protective cases. He has an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, an M.Phil. in classics from Cambridge University on a Fulbright Scholarship, and an A.B. in classics and history from Brown University.
