Mike Coppens

Mike is the Global Head of the Business Risk Management Group. He has over 17 years of investment industry experience and has been with the firm since 2012. In his role, Mike is responsible for overseeing the firm’s operational due diligence of investment managers globally across asset classes.

Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Mike was a senior consultant in the financial services advisory group with PricewaterhouseCoopers. In this role, he consulted for financial institutions on a variety of strategic and operational initiatives. Prior to this, Mike was an equity analyst for DG Capital Management where he performed fundamental analysis of large and mid-cap equities. Before moving to the investment team at DG Capital, Mike was an operations associate and was responsible for all back-office functions. Mike earned a BS in Finance from the Boston College Carroll School of Management, and holds an MBA from Boston University.
