Anna-Sophia Boguraev is a PhD Candidate at the Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT, and Harvard, and an MCAT Tutor for Cambridge Coaching. With a background as a commissioned artist and graphic designer since 2012, Anna-Sophia has combined scientific research with creative endeavors. Previous experiences include conducting independent research at Yale University, where a thesis focused on genetically screening transmembrane proteins, and serving as a Research Associate at NASA Ames Research Center, contributing to space biology projects. Anna-Sophia also played a pivotal role in STEM advocacy, notably as the principal investigator for the first Genes in Space project, which validated PCR methods in microgravity. Academic qualifications include an MD and PhD from Harvard Medical School, along with a cum laude degree in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry and English from Yale University.
