Andy Tovey began their work experience in 2005 at Yorkshire Bank, where they served as a Commercial Banking Manager and later as a Credit Executive. At Yorkshire Bank, they provided credit underwriting for various business partners and managed up to £10 million in delegated lending authorities. Andy also ensured asset quality for new and existing lending and handled the local governance of the bank's policies and procedures. In 2013, they joined AJT Financial Ltd, where they provided financial management consultancy services until 2014. Andy then transitioned to the role of Risk Monitoring Manager at Santander UK, overseeing risk and portfolio management for various portfolios, including large corporates, specialized finance, crown dependencies, and invoice finance. Tovey joined Cambridge & Counties Bank in April 2019 as the Head of Credit Risk Oversight.
