Lindsey H. Duke

Mechanical Engineer at Cambridge Energy Solutions

Mrs. Duke is a Mechanical Engineer at Cambridge Energy Solutions LLC, a software company with a mission to develop software for the deregulated electric power industry. She started her career by performing energy modeling for clients behind the meter. Her focus primarily was on the thermodynamic implications of upgrading energy efficient equipment on an annualized basis. After extending her knowledge base to behind the meter renewable projects, she took a role as a Transmission Engineer for a wholesale energy provider company. Here she assisted in the establishment of the Cambridge Energy Solutions software suite to model existing renewable facilities. Over time her primary focus became assistance and support to Asset Managers using Dayzer to forecast and understand future and existing congestion affecting facilities across the ERCOT, WECC, and CAISO markets. She next took an opportunity as an Asset Manager managing a variety of wind and solar facilities in ERCOT and WECC. As an Asset Manager she actively traded in the ERCOT market, managed power purchase agreements, and coordinated market communication and response for operational questions and issues. After two years being an Asset Manager she opened her own trading business operating in the ERCOT market. While continuing to run a virtual trading business she is devoted on a part time basis to assist Cambridge Energy Solutions in the modeling of both the Southwest Power Pool and Western Electricity Coordinating Council.
