Nick Harding

Nick Harding has over 14 years of work experience in the data science field. Nick began their career in 2006 as a Statistician at the University of Leeds, where they worked mainly on the UK Childhood Cancer Study. In 2011, they took on the role of Business Intelligence Analyst at CNIB, where they were responsible for analysis of fundraising data and preparation of reports for the executive committee. That same year, they became a PDRF: Informatics and Biocomputing at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research. In 2014, they were appointed Principal Bioinformatician at the University of Oxford. In 2018, they became the Director of Data Sciences at Silicon Valley Exercise Analytics (SVExA). In 2021, they took on the role of Senior Data Scientist at TopMD precison medicine. Currently, they are the Data Science Lead at Cambridge Epigenetix.

Nick Harding completed a B.A. (Hons) in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford between 2001 and 2004. Nick then went on to obtain an M.Sc in Genetic Epidemiology from the University of Sheffield in 2006 and 2007. Finally, they completed a Ph.D. in Bayesian Network Models in Epidemiology from The University of Manchester between 2007 and 2011.
