John Brusch

John Brusch has extensive experience in the medical field, currently serving as the Regional Medical Director at Cambridge Health Alliance since July 1976, where responsibilities include oversight of ambulatory care. John has held various significant roles, including Medical Director of Somerville Hospital and Associate Chief of Medicine, specializing as an infectious diseases and geriatrics consultant while also serving as an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. Additionally, John has contributed as Chief Editor of the Infectious Disease Section at Medscape since January 2000 and is a member of the Cambridge Biosafety Committee. John Brusch holds a BS and MD in Chem-Bio and Medicine from Tufts College and Tufts Medical School, completed between 1961 and 1969, and has been the president of john L BruschMD PC since its inception. Prior to these roles, John served as the Assistant Chief of Medicine at USPHS Hospital from 1974 to 1976.
