Tony Hooley

Advisor at Cambridge Mechatronics

Tony is the founder of Cambridge Mechatronics - a Cavendish Laboratory physics Ph.D. and ex-IBM Research Fellow at the Institute of Astronomy, Cambridge. Tony has over 40 years of experience in electronics, digital, and software design. He has founded several hi-tech companies, received technology design prizes from the National Research Innovation & Technology Awards, The National Manufacturing Industry Achievement Awards, The Design Council, IEE (Achievement Medal), and was voted Business Man of The Year in the 2003 Cambridge Business Awards. He is the author of a number of academic papers, and of over 75 patents.
