Amanda Cooper

Amanda Cooper is an experienced HR professional with a strong focus on employee relations and workforce development. Currently serving as the Director of HR at Meridian Trust since May 2023, Amanda previously held significant roles including HR Lead for the Finance Transformation Programme at the University of Cambridge and Director/HR Consultant at Cooper HR Consulting, where expertise in grievances, disciplinary processes, and organizational change was provided. Amanda's background includes an interim position as Workforce Lead at the East Midlands and East of England NHS Genomic Laboratory Hub, and leadership roles as Group HR Director at Biochrom Ltd and HR Manager at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Amanda holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from The Open University and has educational qualifications from Anglia Ruskin University and Valley Comprehensive.
