Sandra D.

Sandra D. is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in literacy coaching and teaching. Currently self-employed as a Literacy Coach since February 2023, Sandra has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Lasell College since September 2016, teaching a Mindfulness in Education course for undergraduates. As a Learning Support Teacher at Cambridge Montessori School, Sandra has provided reading and writing support to students from K-8 since January 2016. Previous roles include Resource/Skills Teacher at Fayerweather Street School and Coordinator of Children's Program Family Retreat at Insight Meditation Society. Sandra served as Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning at Marlborough Public Schools and as Assistant Director of Curriculum and Instruction in Newton Public Schools, overseeing curriculum development and professional development initiatives. Sandra holds a CAGS in Education Administration from UMass Boston, completed certification as a Mindfulness Teacher, and has a strong background in mindfulness practices.
