Emi Okuda

Emi Okuda is an experienced educator specialized in multilingual language learners and English as a second language. Currently serving as an Educator of Multilingual Language Learners at Cambridge Public Schools since September 2019, Emi previously worked as an ESL Specialist for kindergarten through second grade at Boston Public Schools. Emi's other roles include Director of Academic Operations at Chyten Educational Services, Founding Manager of School Operations for KIPP Academy Lynn Elementary, and Director of the English Language Center in Boston. Emi has also held positions at The New Teacher Project, managing operations for the Rhode Island Teaching Fellows, and Citizen Schools, overseeing national program operations. Emi holds a Master's Degree in Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
