Lead Teacher K-12, Health And Wellness Education at Cambridge Public Schools

Jennifer Flynn C.A.G.S., MEd., LSW has a diverse range of work experience in the field of health and wellness education. Jennifer has worked as a Lead Teacher K-12 at Cambridge Public Schools since 2010 and as a Coordinator of Health Services and Wellness K-12 at Billerica Public Schools from 2016 to 2019. Additionally, Jennifer has served as an Adjunct Faculty at Cambridge College since 2012, teaching a course on promoting mental health through school-based interventions. Jennifer was also employed as a Facilitator of Collaborative Inquiry at North Andover Public Schools from 2014 to 2016, where they worked with Physical Education, Health, and Family Consumer Science professionals. Prior to that, Jennifer worked in the North Andover High School Athletics Department as an Educational Counselor for Chemical Infractions, helping students understand the consequences of chemical health violations. Jennifer started their career as a Health Teacher at North Andover High School in 2007, where they taught skills-based health curriculum and coordinated CPR training. Jennifer also served as the Wellness Department Chair and completed an administrative internship during their time at the school. Additionally, they were a Steering Committee Member/High School Representative for the Carol E. White Physical Education Program Grant, where they coordinated a Health and Fitness Expo.

Jennifer Flynn C.A.G.S., MEd., LSW completed their education at Salem State University, where they earned a CAGS with Administrative Lic. in Educational Leadership from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Education with a focus in Health/Family Consumer Science from Cambridge College, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. Jennifer also holds additional certifications, including Massachusetts Initial Licensure for Principal/Vice Principal 9-12, Massachusetts Professional Licensure in Health/Family Consumer Science and Elementary Education (grades 1-6), and Massachusetts Licensed Social Worker.
