Matteo Negro

Matteo Negro serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Cambridge Raman Imaging since June 2020, leading a team focused on innovative technology in Coherent Raman Microscopy for various applications in the medical and biotech sectors. Previously, Matteo held roles as Director and Chief Technology Officer, also contributing to development efforts in the same field. In addition to current positions, Matteo is a member of the Advisory Board for the Engineering Physics course at Politecnico di Milano, where prior academic achievements include obtaining a Ph.D. in Physics and a Master's degree in Physics Engineering - Nanotechnology and Photonics. Prior professional experience encompasses roles such as Laser R&D Manager at Bios S.r.l. and Staff Researcher at Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, alongside postdoctoral research at Stanford University.
