Michael Astley

Michael Astley has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Michael began their career at Carl Zeiss Ltd in 2008 as a Systems Physicist and worked there until 2011. Michael then joined Nokia as a Senior Researcher from 2011 to 2016. In 2016, Michael joined Cambridge Touch Technologies, Ltd. where they held various positions including Senior Electronics Engineer, Electronics Team Leader, Engineering Manager, and currently serves as the Technical Director.

Michael Astley attended Calder High School from 1992 to 2000, where they completed their high school education. Michael then went on to the University of Cambridge, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Physics from 2000 to 2004. Following this, they continued their education at the University of Cambridge and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Semiconductor Physics from 2004 to 2008.
