James Brierley Eccles

James Brierley Eccles currently serves as the Head of Academy Goalkeeping at Cambridge United Football Club, a position held since July 2024. Prior to this, James Brierley Eccles worked as the Academy Goalkeeper Coach at AFC Wimbledon from November 2022 to July 2024 and held the role of Advance Centre Goalkeeper Coach at Charlton Athletic Football Club from October 2021 to January 2023. Additionally, James Brierley Eccles was a Volunteer First Team Goalkeeper Coach at Sutton United Football Club from September 2021 to October 2022. Academically, James Brierley Eccles holds a Bachelor's degree in Coaching from the University of Chichester and an extended diploma in Sports Fitness Coaching and Development from North East Surrey College of Technology, completed between 2016 and 2018.
