Laurence Bloom

Laurence Bloom is an experienced professional in sports performance with a robust background spanning over 17 years in various football clubs. Currently serving as Executive Performance Lead at Cambridge United Football Club since July 2025, Laurence previously held positions including Head of Performance at Millwall Football Club and Cambridge United Football Club. Prior to these roles, Laurence served as Head of Performance at Millwall Football Club for six years and as a Sports Science Consultant at Nottingham Forest FC. Additional experiences include a tenure as Head of Sports Science at Charlton Athletic Football Club and Head of Fitness & Conditioning at Southend United Football Club. Laurence's educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Sports Rehabilitation & Injury Prevention from Middlesex University, a Master's in Strength & Conditioning from The University of Salford, and a teaching degree from the University of Greenwich. Furthermore, Laurence is pursuing a postgraduate degree in Business/Commerce at Imperial College London.
