Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Operations at Armbruster Stageway, overseeing manufacturing operations. From 2009 to 2015, they held various roles at Pentair Fairbanks Nijhuis, including Director of Operations, Operations Manager, and Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Dan also worked at Harley-Davidson Motor Co. as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer and at Gardner Denver as a Manufacturing Engineer. Dan began their career as a Quality Assurance Tech at Square D by Schneider Electric.
Dan Bruyn earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia, which they completed from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the same university, which they completed from 1992 to 1996. In addition to their formal education, Dan also holds several certifications, including being a Certified Integrator in Machine Vision (obtained in 2003), a KCG Certification as a Lean Manufacturing Trainer (obtained in 1999), and an EIT Certification from the Engineering Institute of Technology (obtained in 1996).
