Emily Serata

Emily Serata is a dedicated medical student at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, actively involved in healthcare and research initiatives. With experience as a Screener for the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers and a Research Assistant at various institutions, including Boston Children's Hospital and Joslin Diabetes Center, Emily has focused on diabetes-related research and participant recruitment. As a leader for The College Diabetes Network, Emily organized awareness events and advocated for diabetic-friendly options on campus. Emily's academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology from Tufts University, where involvement as a Varsity Student Athlete and Peer Tutor further exemplifies strong leadership and collaborative skills.
