Tyler Yost is a seasoned Data Scientist at Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers since November 2017, where expertise in natural language processing (BERT) has been utilized to classify clinical documents and detect underdiagnosed conditions. Yost implemented a secure, HIPAA-compliant data analytics environment and developed an R package for integrating diverse data sources, managing a large dataset of identities. Previous experience includes a Graduate Student role at the University of Minnesota, where research focused on meta-analysis and the effects of researcher degrees of freedom, and a Research Analyst position at MnDOT, involving traffic volume reporting through coding in Python and R. Yost holds a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Minnesota, as well as a BS in Psychology and a BA in Computer Science from Stockton University.
