James Adsit

James Adsit is a seasoned banking executive with extensive experience in commercial banking and financial services. Currently serving as SVP & Director of Commercial Banking for Camden National Bank since December 2016, Adsit has previously held senior positions at First Niagara Bank, Prefix Companies, PNC, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, among others. With a strong background in managing banking relationships, particularly in healthcare and senior living sectors across New England, Adsit has demonstrated expertise in team leadership and operational efficiency, including the transformation of a K-Mart facility into a state-of-the-art production factory during tenure at Prefix Companies. Additionally, Adsit has experience as an adjunct instructor, teaching subjects related to accounting, banking, and finance. Adsit holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from The State University of New York.
